EXPERIENCED TRANSIT DRIVER

Starting ASAP, this is a Permanent position where you will be working for a logistics company with up to 25 drops a day. 

Our client is offering this Full time Permanent position due to expansion of the company.

This is an exciting position you will be covering the following areas: Hailsham, East Grinstead, lower Dicker, Brighton and Peacehaven.

The successful applicant would be required to come to the depot in Eastbourne, every day to load their stock and then make the deliveries which have been route planned for you. 

Once the deliveries are completed, there is no requirement to come back to the warehouse in Eastbourne.

You would take the vehicle to your home for the night and use it to come to Eastbourne the next morning.

You would have no travel expenses as all fuel for business use, including travelling to the warehouse in the morning is paid for by the company.

SALARY - £25K

START TIME: 6:00am Monday to Friday

You are required to assist with picking the load at the warehouse, and then load the stock onto the van yourself.
We do not have a fixed number of deliveries every day, but they average between 25 drops a day, these are all routed and planned for you within several postcodes.

We are looking for a polite and friendly person who will look after our customers as well as we do, with excellent customer service.
The Vans we use are Transit size Luton Box Vans, experience in driving this type of vehicle is essential.

Must Haves:
Over 25 for insurance purposes
No more than 3 points on your driving licence, we do not accept any IN or DR Codes.
Excellent customer Service skills
